About Me

I’m a psychotherapist based in Longford. I am passionate about my work and feel very privileged to sit with another human being and to bare witness to their pain and suffering. It is a great honour to walk alongside a fellow traveller as we explore the complexities and paradoxes of life’s many challenges. Navigating relationships and the inherent tragedies of human existence is a fundamental aspect of my work.

My professional career began as a general nurse. Following a career break to raise my three beautiful children, I returned to adult education. I trained as a psychotherapist with The Tivoli Institute in Dublin. I have volunteered over several years as a psychotherapist with The Dancing Soul, Vita House and Longford Counselling Services. Upon completion of an MA in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical) I continued to volunteer with Longford Counselling Services while also maintaining a private practice.
